Enchantment

The lovely summer glistens her blue eyes,
The glare so bright that I cannot turn away,
I move closer and closer to beset her sparkle,

As I move the enchantment grows,
I slowly see her figure come to bay,
My heart pounds harder and harder,
The beat a deafening drum,
Its sound too much to bear,
Then before I know it,
Her lips and mine intertwine,
Then the deafening drums stop at last,

My heart is now sowed,
Forever planted to last.
